Dncae
If someone was to ask me what was my favorite thing in the whole wide world, I'd have quite a hard time deciding. I'd linger from hobby to hobby that I enjoy practicing; theater, singing, playing the piano, writing etc. I'd also consider music: the one thing that keeps me whole, or maybe fitness...
That being said, my final answer would be dance.
I've been dancing since I was about three, and I haven't stopped since. I trained at a school close to my house for many years in jazz and ballet , but last year I transferred to a new school. There, I get to do every type of dance under the sun, and that in only one course. Although I admire and love this way of learning, I have to admit that it's a shame we don't excel in all the different styles. Of course, there's only so much you can do in a two hour weekly class.
Though, at this dance school, there is scholarship program with up to six hours of dance a week and I realllllllllllly want to get in. I've been practicing like everyday on my flexibility (I have all my splits; WOUHOU) and my pirouettes (doubles on both sides) , so that's putting all the chances on my side, I guess. I will train my body so dam heard this summer so that I can get into this program. I've never wanted something so much in my whole entire life.
Other than that, I think I've improved enormously in the past year. For one thing, I was, basically , the school choreographer. I made up and danced the dances for the theater group, and for the final secondary four showcase. Choreographing gave a whole new dimension to my love of dance.
Plus, to keep my inspiration at a maximum, I've been watching a ton of videos on Youtube about ballet dancers, movies (Center Stage, oh my god: Center Stage Trailer) and reading tons of blogs to improve my technique. I've even been trying to listen to more rap to get better at hip-hop. (I've done everything from taking a reggae class to copying moves from amazing hip-hoppers... but that style just doesn't go with my body!) Finally, So You Think You Can Dance Season 10 just started a few weeks ago, and it has kind of become my new favorite show. Ever.

Don't worry, mum...
I can't believe that it's already Sunday. This weekend has been pretty much amazing (minus the extensive studying). I had no school on Friday, so Thursday I went to a party. It was for the theater group I was in; we were saying farewell to the seniors that we wouldn't see for quite a while. I might have drunk a little too much, but I still remember everything, so it couldn't of been that bad. I ended up taking care of my best friend all evening... so yeah. On Friday I got up at 8 and went to the gym with my mum. I really love fitness, it makes me feel so friggin' amazing. The lady that was giving the course even told me that I was in super duper good shape. Booyah! Then, to make up for my lack of sleep, I slept t'ill five and then studied for the rest of the night. Yesterday was really fun though. I went for some groceries and stuff with my dad and I studied all afternoon, but at around five, I went to see a guy that works close to my house. I may or may not be interested in him. Then some of my friends came over and we just talked all evening. Pretty cool, hein?
I might have a shitload of studying these days, but I'm finishing my sec 4 in two weeks. I have one day of classes left, and then it's exam week (and a half). I'm really excited for this summer. If everything goes out as planned, it's going to be amazing.

Fresh Start
So my journey begins into the world of blogging. I'll probably give up on this in about two weeks, but in the meantime, I'd like to share my thoughts with someone other than myself (Let's be honest, it gets pretty cray cray up there sometimes)
What will it be about? Well I've recently gotten into fitness and eating healthy, so that'll be on here. Also, I've decided to take dance more seriously, for I really want to get into an intense dance program (up to 5-6 hours/week) in the fall at my dance school, and I'll do anything that's in my power to get better, hence a hell of a lot of practicing. Finally, I've been slacking off on writing since I finished my novel, and I want to get back into it, but this time in English.
So yeah, that's just me.
